Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black sacrifice-and-drain strategy helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap, self-recurring creatures, sacrifice them repeatedly to outlets like Carrion Feeder and Ashnod's Altar, and drain all opponents via Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or the commander's own death trigger. The commander acts as a value engine, providing card draw on attack and a transform into a flying 5/5 with an emblem that accelerates the drain. Infinite combos (e.g., Gravecrawler + Carrion Feeder + a payoff) form the fastest wins, while recursion spells like Funeral Room // Awakening Hall and Sheoldred, Whispering One provide resilience. The deck can also pivot to a combat-finish with Avenger of the Fallen or massive Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion. It is a tuned aristocrats pile that leverages redundancy to find its core pieces.
