Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet spellslinger strategy built around Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The deck accelerates its mana curve during the early turns using an extensive suite of mana rocks to cast its seven-mana commander on Turn 5. Once Ovika resolves, every noncreature spell generates a swarm of hasty 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens equal to that spell's mana value. The deck leverages high printed mana value spells with built-in cost reduction mechanics, including delve, convoke, and affinity, to cheat mana costs while producing massive token bursts in a single turn. Win conditions center on overwhelming combat damage amplified by static anthems such as Shared Animosity and Obelisk of Urd, or non-combat burn through Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, and Goblin Bombardment. While resilient against spot removal thanks to Ovika's built-in ward ability, the deck relies almost exclusively on its commander to generate threats.
