Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive discard-and-draw synergy engine helmed by partner commanders Brallin, Skyshark Rider and Shabraz, the Skyshark. The strategy accelerates into early looting enablers before deploying Brallin to turn every discarded card into direct damage against the entire table while rapidly growing both commanders. High-density hand refreshes like Windfall, Tolarian Winds, and Change of Fortune deal massive bursts of burn damage in single turns, supported by secondary payoffs such as Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Surly Badgersaur, and The Locust God. The deck boasts exceptional card velocity, strong functional redundancy, and reliable pressure, but trades off reactive interaction and defensive protection. Because it commits heavily to sorcery-speed development and creature-based damage triggers, well-timed creature removal and mass sweepers represent its primary operational hurdles.
