Ozai B2 by user7924388

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King is a Rakdos big-mana deck. The commander is both ramp and finisher: attack with firebending to bank red mana, then spend it on massive damage spells. City on Fire makes Crackle with Power X=3 a one-shot against all opponents. A pinger package (Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer) with Torbran and Artist's Talent provides a second, incremental win. The Rise of Sozin and Aclazotz add board control and recursion. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it builds mana through rocks and rituals, protects Ozai with Greaves/Boots, and tries to resolve one huge turn around turn six or seven.
