Wilhelt - Zombie Tribal by Thesmik

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Dimir Zombie tribal value deck helmed by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The plan is to flood the board with Zombie tokens, leverage lords and anthems, and convert deaths into more bodies, cards, and life drain until the table collapses under combat pressure or attrition. Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver is the central engine: every non-decayed Zombie death refunds a 2/2 decayed token, and his end-step sacrifice draws a card, keeping the hand full while the board stays sticky. Primary wins come from go-wide combat (lords, Wonder, Eternal Skylord, Graf Harvest) and drain payoffs (Bastion of Remembrance, Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, Vengeful Dead, Shepherd of Rot, Gray Merchant of Asphodel). There are no infinite combo lines; the deck leans fully into the tribal theme with token doublers like Necroduality and Cleaver Skaab, mass makers like Army of the Damned, and the free-cast enabler Rooftop Storm.
