Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch commands an aggressive Rakdos aristocrats combo deck centered on infinite persist loops. Gev grants entering creatures a +1/+1 counter whenever an opponent has lost life this turn. When paired with persist creatures like Putrid Goblin, Murderous Redcap, or Lesser Masticore, the +1/+1 counter immediately negates the persist -1/-1 counter. Sacrificing the persist creature to free outlets such as Goblin Bombardment, Viscera Seer, or Altar of Dementia generates infinite death triggers, mill, or direct damage. Redundant counter enablers like First Day of Class and Thran Vigil provide resilient backup lines, while cheap tutors and fast mana ensure explosive, protected combo finishes.
