Deck overview

This colorless Commander deck is commanded by Marvin, Murderous Mimic and is built around a distinctive Scarecrow tribal and activated-ability engine. Marvin acts as a modular copying hub, gaining the activated abilities of every other creature you control. The primary game plan accelerates mana through artifact ramp, establishes Marvin alongside Palladium Myr and Pili-Pala, and generates infinite mana of all colors. From there, the deck funnels infinite mana into card-draw engines like Staff of Domination or Scarecrone, rapidly assembling the classic Painter's Servant and Grindstone combo to mill out the entire table in a single turn. The 99 features deep synergy with the Shadowmoor Scarecrow cycle, using color-granting artifacts to turn on keyword buffs and -1/-1 counter engines like Grim Poppet. While the list excels at compact artifact finishes, its interaction suite is primarily sorcery-speed creature control.
