Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The game plan revolves around deploying early Zombie utility creatures and cost reducers, resolving Gisa on Turn 4 or 5, and leveraging her sacrifice ability to exponentially grow a horde of 2/2 Zombie tokens. These tokens are bolstered by anthem lords such as Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Undead Warchief or weaponized through death-drain triggers from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Mirkwood Bats. The deck boasts immense card draw engines like Skullclamp and Undead Augur, allowing it to replenish resources effortlessly. It controls opposing boards asymmetrically using Dictate of Erebos and Noxious Ghoul, creating severe creature attrition. While vulnerable to exile board wipes and lacking stack-based interaction, the deck presents high resilience through recursion and reaches a lethal closeout around Turn 7.
