This deck is a five-color Spellslinger Storm strategy built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and creatures with the prepare mechanic. Codie's static ability copies every cast prepared spell, turning modest utility spells into doubled powerhouses. By combining low-cost prepare creatures with magecraft engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Veyran, Voice of Duality, the deck rapidly generates insurmountable card advantage and mana velocity. The win condition centers on a decisive turn-5 storm sequence where copied rituals like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song fund continuous draw and tutor chains. With Jeskai Ascendancy untapping the team or Witherbloom Apprentice draining life on every cast and copy, the deck can eliminate the entire pod in a single explosive turn. While resilient against single-target interaction through redundant draw and graveyard recursion, the deck remains vulnerable to heavy creature sweepers and dedicated stax pieces that limit multiple spell casts per turn.
