Jess’ Lathril by user2030966

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Golgari elfball that aims to flood the table with cheap Elves, then use Lathril as both token engine and finisher. The primary line is to attack with Lathril to create a critical mass of Elf tokens, then tap ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10. Backup lines include Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri overruns, Beastmaster Ascension, and enter-the-battlefield drains from Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Lathril, but its redundant lords and dorks can still execute an elf-ball beatdown if she is missing. It is vulnerable to board wipes and has almost no stack interaction, relying on speed and redundancy.
