Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Horror tribal and mill-theft midrange strategy led by Captain N'ghathrod. The deck establishes early mana acceleration and low-curve Horrors on Turns 1–3, setting up the commander on Turn 4. Captain N'ghathrod grants all Horrors menace and forces opponents to mill cards equal to combat damage dealt, reanimating the best milled creature or artifact at each end step. On Turns 5–7, the deck scales into devastating bombs like Breach the Multiverse, Consuming Aberration, The Mindskinner, and Toxrill, the Corrosive, overwhelming opponents with stolen armies, massive evasive combat damage, and mill attrition. Interaction includes premium Dimir staples like Mana Drain, Cyclonic Rift, and Toxic Deluge, while Sludge Monster and Toxrill, the Corrosive continuously neutralize opposing creature boards. The list exhibits strong backup lines that function independently of the commander, making it resilient in grindy multiplayer games.
