Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes a high-synergy Rakdos strategy centered on damage redirection, indestructible spite creatures, and massive Treasure generation. While the deck can operate through standard aristocrat burn using Mirkwood Bats and Reckless Fireweaver, its primary game plan uses Smaug the Impenetrable as a massive mana battery. By dealing noncombat damage to Smaug or other indestructible creatures like Brash Taunter and Stuffy Doll via board wipes, Pestilence, or Cut Propulsion, you generate dozens of Treasure tokens in a single turn. You then convert this explosive mana into lethal multi-target finishers like Crackle with Power, Exsanguinate, or immediate drain triggers.
