This Grixis spellslinger deck, helmed by Saruman, the White Hand, leverages the amass Orcs mechanic to build a steadily growing Army token while generating value from instant and sorcery spells. The primary game plan is to control the board with removal and board wipes, accumulate card advantage through draw and selection spells, and finish opponents with a massive Army, reanimated threats, or extra combat steps from Scourge of the Throne. Secondary win conditions include pinging with Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription, stealing key permanents via Hostage Taker and In the Darkness Bind Them, and mass reanimation with Living Death.
