Deck overview

This is a mid-power Mardu Vampire aggro-drain deck helmed by Edgar Markov. Eminence floods the board with 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever you cast Vampire spells, even from the command zone, while Edgar's haste body and attack trigger pump the entire team. The primary plan is go-wide tribal combat backed by life-drain payoffs (Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose) and the classic Exquisite Blood loops. Token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and anthems (Coat of Arms, Mirror Entity, lords) turn the swarm lethal quickly. Secondary lines include Bolas's Citadel life-total crushing and one-sided wipes via Olivia's Wrath. The deck leverages efficient rocks and rituals to deploy Edgar early, then closes through combat damage and table-wide drain rather than pure combo racing.
