Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger and land-animation midrange engine commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus. The strategy revolves around casting and cycling thematic Lesson spells to build graveyard density, then utilizing Iroh's static ability to flashback Lessons for just one mana each. As spells flow from hand and graveyard, earthbending engines like Toph, Hardheaded Teacher, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Bumi, Unleashed transform lands into resilient, counter-laden beaters with haste and double strike. Built-in recursion on earthbent lands ensures that destroyed land creatures return tapped to the battlefield, providing exceptional resilience against standard board wipes. Flashback card advantage from Accumulate Wisdom and Waterbending Lesson combines with free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Force of Negation to safeguard key operational windows. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 and finishes opponents by Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage and overrun effects.
