Format: Commander

Commander: Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn turns every point of life gained into flexible +1/+1 counters at the end step. The primary plan is to stabilize with early lifelinkers and life payoffs, then assemble Cleric Class at Level 2 with Spike Feeder to generate unbounded life; Lathiel then spreads arbitrarily many counters across the team, and a single attack with a huge creature, often copied by Ghalta and Mavren, ends the game. Evra, Halcyon Witness gives a backup outlet for the life engine. Secondary paths include fair GW beatdown with Nykthos Paragon and flying lifelinkers. Cleric Class acts as the deck's hidden commander, since the whole combo hinges on it.
