Deck overview

Fire Lord Zuko is a Mardu token/aggro deck that converts exile casting and exile-enters permanents into +1/+1 counters. The main plan is to build a wide board of Firebending creatures and tokens, then spend the attack-trigger red mana on combat tricks and activated abilities. Secondary paths use Theater of Horrors, Unlucky Witness, and Zuko, Exiled Prince as recurring exile engines, with Team Avatar, Pennon Blade, or Sigil of Valor turning one attacker into a lethal hit. Zuko, Exiled Prince acts as a hidden backup commander with the same attack-trigger role. The commander is a finisher/multiplier rather than a required combo piece. There is no infinite combo; the deck closes through repeated combat or Firebending-fueled burn.
