Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck blends traditional Elf-ball mana acceleration with a powerful graveyard combo engine centered on Thranduil, the Elvenking. By borrowing activated abilities from Elves in the graveyard, Thranduil transforms single tutor spells like Buried Alive and Entomb into instant win conditions. Key combinations like Devoted Druid paired with Timberwatch Elf allow Thranduil to generate infinite mana and infinite power, which feeds directly into non-combat win conditions such as Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Walking Ballista, or Torment of Hailfire. Backed by free interaction spells and dense green-black tutoring, the deck applies reliable turn-four pressure while retaining resilient backup plans through artifact combo pieces like Staff of Domination.
