Elenda & Azor Nonconsensual Hugs by OmegaMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Elenda and Azor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper deck is a draw-matters group-hug strategy helmed by Elenda and Azor. The commander converts attacks into burst card draw and turns cards drawn into a swarm of lifelink Vampire Knight tokens. The 99 is built around symmetric draw engines - Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, Font of Mythos, Kami of the Crescent Moon - that fuel the deck's own payoffs while punishing opponents for drawing via Orcish Bowmasters, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Scrawling Crawler, and Notion Thief. Primary wins are the self-mill route (Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries + Leveler), the Notion Thief + wheel lock, and Psychic Corrosion mill. The deck plays a patient control game, drawing enormous volumes of cards, stripping hands with wheels, and closing through one of several draw-based kill conditions.
