Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, focusing on symmetric hand destruction, Rack-style life loss, and card theft. The strategy deploys cheap discard spells such as Burglar Rat, Delirium Skeins, and Dark Deal to rapidly deplete opposing hands. As opponents discard, Tinybones exiles those cards with stash counters, turning their graveyards into an extended card pool playable with mana of any type. Meanwhile, continuous punishment pieces like Shrieking Affliction, Megrim, Oppression, and Painful Quandary tax every action and drain life during upkeeps. While the deck generates massive resource disparity and sustains tight topdeck locks, its damage clock relies on incremental attrition over several table rotations. The absence of mass board wipes and targeted enchantment removal leaves it vulnerable to aggressive wide boards and fast combo decks that resolve threats before discard locks are established.
