Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red stompy engine built around Herigast, Erupting Nullkite. It exploits high-mana-value creatures with alternative low casting costs, such as Oxidda Golem, Su-Chi, Bygone Colossus, and prototype spells, to emerge Herigast ahead of curve on turn 4. Casting Herigast exiles a depleted hand to draw three fresh cards, immediately refilling resources. Once Herigast is active, every creature spell gains emerge, enabling the deck to chain through massive threats like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Defiler, and Terror of the Peaks. Haste enablers ensure these behemoths attack immediately, using annihilator triggers and direct burn to strip opposing permanents and close the game across turns 6 and 7. If Herigast is removed, backup cheat engines like Sneak Attack and Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded maintain relentless pressure.
