DOOMSday Diplomacy (Precon Base Upgaded) by user1937498

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The plan leverages the Villain creature type and the connive mechanic-draw, then discard-to generate continuous card selection, +1/+1 counters, and discard payoffs. The commander rewards land discards with table-wide drain and gives a Villain menace plus a free connive at each combat, turning every combat step into card filtering and incremental life loss. Primary wins come from assembling Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle with a token-making Villain, from combat backed by Fiery Emancipation and token swarms (Living Laser, Ultron, Unlimited), and from attrition drains off Plans and land-discard loops with Crucible of Worlds. The deck plays as a grindy value engine that eventually converts card advantage and menace attackers into a decisive board or combo finish.
