Mendicant Core, Guidelight by Tweeedy94

Format: Commander

Commander: Mendicant Core, Guidelight

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mendicant Core, Guidelight is a WU artifact-beatdown commander that serves two roles: a scaling voltron threat whose power equals your artifact count, and a max-speed copy engine for artifact spells. The primary plan is to build a critical mass of cheap artifacts and equipment, turn Mendicant Core into a 21-damage commander clock with Swords and protection, then finish with copied artifact spells or large artifact creatures. Backup paths include Myr Battlesphere or Darksteel Colossus alpha strikes and recursion from Emry, Academy Ruins, and Buried Ruin. No hidden or double-faced commander exists; the deck is built around Mendicant Core rather than a spell-slinger alternative.
