Deck overview

This deck is a creature-centric Simic midrange list commanded by Volo, Guide to Monsters. The strategy relies on drafting a diverse creature base across unique creature types to trigger Volo's spell-copying ability. By duplicating value-generating creatures that draw cards, ramp mana, or remove opposing threats, the deck quickly amasses superior board presence and hand size. It closes games by overrunning opponents through wide combat steps, utilizing powerful top-end threats such as End-Raze Forerunners, Rampaging Brontodon, and Junk Winder to push lethal trample damage or tap down potential blockers across multiple turns.
