Commander: Abaddon the Despoiler

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis cascade-and-drain deck built around Abaddon the Despoiler. The primary plan is to chip all opponents with pinger creatures and Monument triggers, then use any life lost that turn to give high-mana-value spells cascade from hand. Abaddon is the engine; Neheb, the Eternal and Bloodletter of Aclazotz turn that damage into extra mana and doubled life loss, while Super State, Seifer Almasy, and Warstorm Surge provide the closing combat. A secondary steal-and-cast package (Etali, Primal Storm, Tasha, the Witch Queen, Fallen Shinobi, Thief of Sanity, Grima) creates card advantage and can end games with copied spells. Tasha acts as a hidden commander, turning page-counted exiled cards into free spells and Demon tokens. The deck is resilient to disruption but lacks a deterministic combo.
