The Black Gospel of Sheoldred by user7466027

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sheoldred, the Apocalypse heads a mono-black draw-punishment deck. The primary plan is to cast Sheoldred early and force extra draws with Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Teferi's Puzzle Box, and Seizan, converting every opponent draw into life loss. The backup and most common finishing line is the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood loop, assembled with Demonic Tutor and Grim Tutor and supported by redundant pieces such as Bloodthirsty Conqueror, Enduring Tenacity, and Marauding Blight-Priest. Ob Nixilis, Orcish Bowmasters, and Peer into the Abyss offer burst-kill variants. The deck is linear but resilient, with heavy life gain offsetting its own pain-based draw costs.
