Deck overview

This deck executes a classic Dimir Faerie tempo game plan led by Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. It uses efficient flash creatures, token engines like Bitterblossom and Alela, Cunning Conqueror, and tribal lords to establish an evasive flying board state. The deck plays primarily at instant speed during opponents' turns, holding up premium countermagic such as Force of Will and Spellstutter Sprite while building incremental card advantage through Tegwyll's death triggers and Talion, the Kindly Lord. As the Faerie count grows, damage doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and attrition engines like Grave Pact and Maha, Its Feathers Night transition the board into a decisive clock. While vulnerable to early wipe-heavy strategies and lacking fast combo finishes, the deck excels at disrupting opponent game plans while steadily chipping down life totals in the air.
