Nethroi Mutation Bomb 1.0 by user1241457

Format: Commander

Commander: Nethroi, Apex of Death

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan deck uses Nethroi, Apex of Death as a mass reanimation engine. You fill the graveyard with small creatures through self-mill and tutors like Buried Alive, then mutate Nethroi onto a non-Human to return up to 10 power of creatures at once. The returned board creates value through aristocrats drains from Blood Artist effects and through wide combat with counters and tokens. Luminous Broodmoth and Eternal Witness provide backup recursion, while sacrifice outlets and protection keep the board resilient. Without a combo finish, you win by grinding incremental damage and rebuilding after wipes until opponents run out of answers.
