Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron and extra-combat strategy commanded by Lightning, Army of One. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Lightning on curve, attaching high-impact Equipment, and connecting in combat to trigger her Stagger ability. Stagger doubles all damage dealt to that player until your next turn, turning extra combat phases and power buffs into lethal bursts. The deck supports this aggressive clock with redundant extra-combat engines like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Aggravated Assault. Combat connections generate Treasure and card advantage to fuel continuous pressure, while a top-tier defensive suite featuring Clever Concealment, Boros Charm, and Conqueror's Flail protects key permanents from removal. An infinite combat loop with Helm of the Host and Aurelia provides an alternative hard-combo finish when commander damage is contested.
