Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Terra, Herald of Hope to spearhead an aggressive graveyard reanimation and combo engine. Terra provides built-in self-mill and evasion through Trance, using combat damage triggers to reanimate small-power utility creatures such as Karmic Guide and Sister Hospitaller, which in turn cheat massive threats like Archon of Cruelty and Valgavoth, Terror Eater directly onto the battlefield. The deck is further underpinned by explosive fast mana, efficient tutors like Buried Alive and Entomb, and potent asymmetric stax pieces including Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Drana and Linvala. To close the game, the deck transitions into deterministic sacrifice loops involving Reveillark, Karmic Guide, and Phyrexian Altar (or Murderous Redcap paired with Celes, Rune Knight), delivering infinite damage to all opponents in a single turn cycle.
