Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari go-wide spellslinger deck led by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap creature tokens such as Pests, Saprolings, and Eldrazi Spawn during the first three turns. On turn 4, the deck casts its commander for as little as two mana using its creature affinity ability. With the commander in play, all instant and sorcery spells gain affinity for creatures, allowing expensive game-winning spells like Army of the Damned, Gelatinous Genesis, and Exsanguinate to be cast for only their colored mana requirements. The deck can also execute an infinite token combo using Sprout Swarm's convoke and buyback mechanics. While the deck generates explosive mana efficiency and wide boards, it relies heavily on creature permanents remaining in play and features minimal reactive protection against board sweepers.
