Wheels on the Bus by user5979698

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer commands a high-impact Grixis wheel strategy focused on turning opponents card draws into lethal damage. The deck establishes early passive draw engines and layers redundant damage sources like Fate Unraveler, Underworld Dreams, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Once these punishers are in place, symmetrical wheel spells such as Windfall, Dark Deal, and Wheel and Deal deal devastating bursts of group damage across the table. For explosive instant kills, granting infect to a draw-punishing creature through Phyresis, Grafted Exoskeleton, or Tainted Strike transforms a single seven-card wheel into a lethal ten-poison elimination. Counterspells and spot removal protect your engines while keeping opposing game plans in check.
