Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Elemental kindred midrange strategy commanded by Ashling, the Limitless. The game plan revolves around playing Ashling on Turn 3, then using her static ability to grant evoke {4} to heavy Elemental permanents. Whenever an evoked nontoken Elemental dies, Ashling immediately replaces it with a hasty token copy, effectively doubling enters-the-battlefield triggers while drastically discounting high-mana threats like Avenger of Zendikar, Titan of Industry, and Mulldrifter. Value engines such as Risen Reef and Garruk's Uprising keep the hand replenished and accelerate land drops. While the deck boasts high internal synergy, recursion via Horde of Notions and Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and robust removal on creature bodies, it is held back by tapped lands, minimal stack interaction, and absence of fast combo finishes, relying on combat damage and direct burn over two response cycles to secure victory around Turn 8.
