Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white midrange strategy commanded by Gandalf the White. It pairs asymmetric taxation and pillowfort elements with a powerful flying Angel beatdown finish. The early game establishes defensive speed bumps using cards like Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Ghostly Prison to slow opposing combo turns and attacks. In the midgame, Gandalf the White allows legendary permanents and artifacts to be deployed at flash speed while doubling their entry and exit triggers. The deck scales its board presence using token generators and stat amplifiers like Cathars' Crusade, Flowering of the White Tree, and Divine Visitation. Games conclude through large evasive swings led by Lyra Dawnbringer and Sephara, Sky's Blade. Dense instant-speed protection shields the board from damage-based and destroy-based board wipes.
