Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact cheat and polymorph strategy led by Arcum Dagsson. The primary plan uses Arcum to sacrifice cheap artifact creatures, such as animated lands like Blinkmoth Nexus or tokens from Retrofitter Foundry, to tutor high-impact noncreature artifacts directly onto the battlefield. The main tutor targets include Darksteel Forge to make the board indestructible, Simulacrum Synthesizer to build an army of massive Construct tokens, and Proteus Staff to polymorph tokens into high-mana Eldrazi and Sea Monsters like Pathrazer of Ulamog and Inkwell Leviathan. The deck lacks infinite combos and instead wins by establishing an insurmountable board of giant, indestructible, and evasive beaters. Evasion enablers like Sun Quan, Lord of Wu and Archetype of Imagination ensure combat damage connects cleanly across all opponents.
