Deck overview

This competitive Golgari combo deck utilizes Ygra, Eater of All as a central engine piece to turn all other creatures on the battlefield into Food artifacts. By doing so, it unlocks lethal loops with cards that care about Food sacrifices, most notably Experimental Confectioner. When combined with a zero-mana sacrifice outlet, Confectioner continuously creates Rat tokens that enter as Foods, enabling an infinite sacrifice loop that terminates the game through Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, or Altar of Dementia. Supported by premium fast mana, a low curve, and high-velocity draw engines like Ad Nauseam and Necropotence, the deck consistently threatens turn 4 wins with zero response cycles. It also runs a viable secondary infinite line through Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Warren Soultrader, preserving high resilience even if the commander is removed.
