Deck overview

Thorin, Mountain-king is a mono-red Equipment/Dwarf voltron deck. Thorin's enter trigger attaches any number of Equipment to one creature and turns the attached power into targeted damage, so the deck spends the early game deploying Dwarves and Equipment (Dain, Diamond Pick-Axe) and then pushes an equipped threat through with Dain's double strike and Blacksmith's Talent. Secondary paths are Valduk's hasty Elemental tokens, Enduring Courage presses, and a heavy-Dragon/midrange finish with Furnace Hellkite and Avatar of Slaughter. No hidden commander is present; Dain Ironfoot functions as the closest secondary engine, and the commander is single-faced.
