Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Saga midrange strategy commanded by Tom Bombadil. The primary game plan revolves around deploying a continuous curve of Saga enchantments to control opposing boards, generate creature tokens, and accumulate lore counters. When four or more lore counters exist across your Sagas, Tom Bombadil gains built-in hexproof and indestructible. As Sagas resolve their final chapter abilities, Tom automatically cascades into new Sagas directly from the library onto the battlefield once each turn. The deck leverages high-impact Saga effects like Elspeth Conquers Death for removal, Summon: Leviathan for asymmetrical bouncing, and Song of Freyalise or War of the Last Alliance for lethal combat buffs including trample, indestructible, and double strike. Standalone threats like Omnath, Locus of Rage and token doublers like Doubling Season expand the board state, allowing the deck to close out the game through sustained value attrition and overwhelming combat steps.
