Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Draw-Go Control strategy commanded by Nymris, Oona's Trickster. The primary game plan revolves around playing almost entirely at instant speed during opponents' turns. By deploying early mana ramp and flash-cost reducers such as Naiad of Hidden Coves and Cunning Nightbonder, the deck establishes Nymris or parallel draw engines to turn every piece of reactive interaction into card advantage and graveyard selection. Opponent threats are answered with an efficient counterspell and removal suite while preserving resources. To close out games, the deck transitions into an evasive token and combat clock using Talrand, Sky Summoner to generate flying Drakes, backed by Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to lock opponents out of stack interaction. Evasion mechanics like shadow from Dauthi Embrace ensure combat damage bypasses blockers for a steady, protected victory.
