Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger strategy that converts noncreature spell casts into pervasive table-wide burn. Commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, the deck establishes a wide board of cheap Wizards and token generators across the opening turns. At the end step of Turn 4, reaching four Wizards flips Kuja into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by Wizards. On Turn 5, the deck initiates a critical onset by chaining cheap burn, rituals, and card-filtering spells to trigger multiple pingers, inflicting massive noncombat damage to all opponents at once. Turn 6 finishes the table through additional burn spells or explosive engines like Bolas's Citadel and Mana Geyser. Backup win conditions include an infinite token combo with Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half. While creature sweepers require rebuilding via graveyard recursion, the deck exerts rapid, inevitable burn pressure against the entire pod.
