Deck overview

This Mardu token-aggro deck is helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, who doubles every attack trigger, creating explosive value from cards that generate tokens, deal damage, or draw cards when creatures attack. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with tokens via Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, Otharri, Suns' Glory, and similar effects, then convert that wide board into life loss through Mirkwood Bats, Within Range, and Agate Instigator. Extra combat spells like All-Out Assault and Combat Celebrant provide burst turns, while a modest protection suite (Inkshield, Selfless Spirit) keeps the board intact. The commander is a force multiplier, not a combo piece, and the deck wins through overwhelming combat damage and incremental drain.
