Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Goblin Aristocrats and Counter-Burn strategy commanded by The Great Goblin. The primary plan leverages the commander's dual abilities: burning opponents whenever counters are placed on Goblins, Orcs, or Armies, and exiling cards for card advantage whenever those creatures die. Early turns focus on ramping into The Great Goblin on Turn 3, followed by deploying token producers and counter engines such as Gev, Scaled Scorch, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Krenko, Mob Boss. By Turn 5, wide token generation combined with amass mechanics, blight effects, and Impact Tremors creates rapid life-total pressure across all three opponents. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through compounded burn triggers, sacrifice drain, and coordinated combat damage. While vulnerable to early creature removal and lacking instant-speed stack interaction, the deck enjoys immense card velocity through its commander's death triggers, allowing it to rebuild quickly after opposing sweepers.
