Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Monarch Blink deck commanded by Aragorn, King of Gondor. The primary game plan curves low-cost token generators and utility creatures into a Turn 4 Aragorn, immediately seizing the monarch. On Turn 5, Aragorn attacks while holding the crown, triggering his ability to make your entire attacking army completely unblockable. Damage amplifiers like Blade Historian, Warleader's Call, and Akroma's Will turn moderate token boards into lethal combat swings, closing the game across Turns 6 and 7. Meanwhile, a dedicated blink package featuring Soulherder, Displacer Kitten, and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling repeatedly triggers enter-the-battlefield abilities to generate cards, tokens, and direct burn via Agate Instigator. Robust protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment defend the board against sweepers, while Voice of Victory and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior disrupt opposing responses and maintain monarch supremacy throughout combat.
