Deck overview

This Boros deck controls the battlefield through forced combat, pillowfort barriers, and political attrition. Commanded by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Noble Heritage, the strategy revolves around placing +1/+1 counters on Baeloth each turn cycle to raise his power. As Baeloth grows, his static ability goads all opposing creatures with power less than his own. This forces opponents to attack one another while generating Treasure tokens whenever goaded creatures perish in combat. Noble Heritage, Ghostly Prison, and Windborn Muse shield you from retaliation, while damage amplifiers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Death Kiss accelerate opposing life loss. Once the table thins down to a final opponent, the deck finishes the game through high-power commander attacks or unblockable swings using Taunt from the Rampart and Blackblade Reforged.
