Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green tribal aggro strategy helmed by Ayula, Queen Among Bears. The game plan revolves around playing cheap Bear creatures to repeatedly trigger Ayula's ability, either growing attackers with +1/+1 counters or fighting opposing creatures to maintain board control. The deck sustains its hand size using power-threshold draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond, which trigger reliably because Ayula immediately buffs entering 2/2 Bears into 4/4 threats. Mana dorks and curve-toppers like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and Beorn the Fierce build mid-game tempo, culminating in decisive combat steps fueled by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, or Craterhoof Behemoth. While the deck excels at dominating creature boards and applying direct physical pressure, its lack of stack interaction, tutoring, and reactive protection leaves it susceptible to well-timed board wipes and non-interactive combo decks.
