Deck overview

This deck leverages Ian Malcolm, Chaotician to turn standard multiplayer card draw into a shared chaotic sandbox while capitalizing on paradox triggers and draw-punishing payoffs. In the early game, it accelerates mana and establishes symmetrical draw engines like Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, and Dictate of Kruphix, triggering Ian Malcolm whenever players draw their second card each turn. As libraries are continuously exiled, the deck turns opposing resources into its own arsenal, amplified by exile payoffs such as Passionate Archaeologist, Memory Worm, and Nalfeshnee. To close games, the deck pivots into win conditions like Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Forced Fruition, and Scrawling Crawler, turning opponents' massive draws into lethal damage or rapid library exhaustion. While it runs premium free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, the deck inherently arms its opponents with extra cards, creating high-variance, fast-moving multiplayer games.
