SMAUG'S STORM by user1039764

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is a Rakdos treasure-storm engine. The deck wants to create large numbers of Treasure tokens-through Smaug's ETB, Xorn, Goldspan Dragon, Storm-Kiln Artist, and sacrifice payoffs-then use that Treasure mana to cast spells. Spending Treasure mana makes Smaug (or backup Mastermind Plum) turn every spell into a draw, at the cost of 1 life. Life loss feeds Rowan, Scion of War, while sacrifice triggers from Mayhem Devil and Marionette Apprentice keep opponents under pressure. The deck closes with a stormed Tendrils of Agony or a high-life Aetherflux Reservoir activation, occasionally using Underworld Breach to recast rituals and card draw for extra copies.
