Deck overview

This Izzet artifact deck is led by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, focusing on filtering for high-impact artifacts early and cheating them directly onto the battlefield. The front face functions as a cheap engine that digs four cards deep every turn to find key artifacts. Once transformed for six mana, The Invincible Iron Man gains flying and haste, triggering at the beginning of combat to drop massive artifacts like Blightsteel Colossus, Portal to Phyrexia, or Excalibur, Sword of Eden directly onto the board and auto-equipping relevant Equipment. The deck accelerates this plan through efficient cost reducers, mana rocks, and Urza, Lord High Artificer, while protecting its setup using premium free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat. Secondary win paths via Simulacrum Synthesizer and Cyberdrive Awakener provide wide combat redundancy if the commander is contested.
