Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya combat strategy built around Toph, the First Metalbender and the earthbend mechanic. The primary game plan develops mana rapidly through 1-2 CMC ramp and artifact lands, deploying Toph on Turn 4 to convert lands into hasty, resilient creature threats. On Turn 5, high-impact beatdown enablers such as Bumi, Unleashed, The Earth King, or Solid Ground establish a dominant combat board. Because earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped when destroyed or exiled, the deck possesses natural resilience against board wipes and creature removal. Symmetrical nonland sweepers like Planar Cleansing break parity cleanly by sparing land creatures and artifact lands. The deck applies compounding combat pressure across Turns 5 to 7, using trample enablers like Badgermole and untap steps from Bumi to overrun opponents in successive combat phases.
