demons by DurakRask

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardyn, the Usurper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ardyn, the Usurper leads a mono-black Demon tribal deck that wins through incremental value, not combos. Ardyn gives all Demons menace, lifelink and haste and copies the best creature from any graveyard each combat as a 5/5 Demon. The deck ramps with Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast and Magus of the Coffers to cast its expensive Demons and 8-mana commander, draws heavily off life loss, and closes with Torment of Hailfire/Exsanguinate, Liliana's Contract, or overwhelming Demon combat boosted by Bloodletter of Aclazotz. No infinite combos exist; every win needs mana, board presence, and combat or a large X spell.
